Papaya OZ is a limited-edition terp powerhouse bred by Karma Genetics, originally released for the Spannabis 2022 expo. This exotic hybrid blends Papaya’s tropical candy sweetness and signature funky “rotten fruit” back note with OZ Melon (OzKush × Melonbred), delivering syrupy melon candy layered with Z-style terps. The addition of Z Tini (Zkittlez × LemonTini) sharpens the profile with bright lemon zest and sour citrus gas, creating a loud, complex aroma that translates beautifully to flavor.

PARENTAL GENETICS

Papaya is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that is known for producing a mental calmness, though many consumers also find that this strain makes them energetic and productive. Nirvana Seeds bred this to be their take on a Mango strain and crossed Citral #13 with Ice #2 to make their own fruit. They met their own challenge and Papaya smells uncannily like its namesake. The taste is similar to its tropical fruit counterpart, but a spicy, peppery side also becomes apparent.

Oz Melon is supposedly a cross between OzKush and the Melonbred that blends summer fruit notes with the over-the-top sweetness of a fruity melon punch alongside heavy hints of Z terps from the Oz Kush.
